Panama Tour

The tour starts at the Bocas del Toro pier with a short boat ride to Laguna Bocatorito, surrounded by small mangroves that form a kind of raft that is home to several families of bottlenose dolphins, the probability to spot dolphins is about 95%. You will spend some time watching them jump and play around your boat. We will continue to Cayo Coral for the impressive coral formation and its rich marine life. In Cayo Coral have time for lunch. Then we will visit Cayo Zapatilla, one of the most impressive islands of the archipelago of Bocas del Toro, here you will find: uninhabited islands, white sand beaches, clear waters, and exotic vegetation. Early in the morning we will take a short 45-minute bus ride to Chagres National Park, where are located the Embera indigenous village and then aboard small or motorized canoes that take us through the Chagres River until we reach the friendly people of the Embera Community. At the Embera village you will be greeted with dancing and music. You will learn about Embera customs and their relationship with nature. There will be handcrafts available for sale and you will have a chance to be painted with the traditional jagua, a natural dye the Embera use to adorn their bodies, and enjoy a traditional Embera lunch. Tour includes: Transportation, admission fees, Spanish/English speaking guides, light lunch, tropical fruits, and bottled water.
